Due to specific weather conditions, the programme started at 8 pm and offered dancing performances, an environmental poem recited by a local poet, biodiversity quiz, and presentation on recycling plastic bottles that is just about to start on Socotra. The celebration with a high level attendance was open by representatives of the local council and EPA Socotra.
The audience of the event might have reached 2.000 people.
