Three exhausted men were found on a southern beach by local people. They were transported to Hadibo and provided with medical aid however one of them died in Hadibo hospital the next day. Four days later, both survivors were taken to Sana’a for further investigation and questioning whether they are refugees, fishermen or pirates.
Referring to its high levels of endemism, Socotra has been called “Galapagos of the Indian Ocean”.
